so i started wondering today: when you kid someone you don't know about fucking up, is that being a dick?

for example, today at the coffee shop, the girl accidentally handed my change to the person in line behind me, so i said, "hey, d'you want some money?" to the person behind me. and then i felt like i was being an asshole, for some reason.

i just want to know for future reference... i have a suspicion that i've become a somewhat caustic, overly sarcastic person. and while i'm probably not going to stop being sarcastic anytime soon, i can at least keep it within reason.

also, the movie "the conversation" is incredible. the best i've seen gene hackman ever. i think i may buy it...

being a dick? from the outside i'd say probably not....but if i was that girl working, i would say 'damn straight. asshole.' or something along those lines.

*shrug* people are weird like that.

but there's nothing wrong with a bit of sarcasm. keeps people on their toes smile

Ah, I'd have laughed and said, "if you're offering". But that's just me, I love sarcastic people, and I'll joke with anyone, and often do. Even people I don't know. And I don't stop to think about whether or not they think I'm being a jerk, because if they can't take a little joke, they can kiss my fat lily white ass.
