So this week I completed a three day FTX (field exercise) in austere conditions and freezing temperatures. We shot a lot of bullets, threw a lot of grenades and overall had a great time.
The DOWN side was staying out and not being able to shower for several days.
Now, I've certainly gone longer on other exercises and operations where I didn't get to shower for many days or even weeks; back during OIF I I went about three weeks with out a proper shower and kept clean as best I could with a canteen and baby wipes. But I NORMALLY shower three times a day because I'm slightly OCD about cleanliness.
What's the longest that anyone else has ever gone without a shower?

Nice long shower and a few loads of laundry took care of it though
