Slight twinge of something.
That makes it feel okay.
To be breathing the same air as you.
Not pain.
Nothing painful could feel.
The divinity of whatever.
The sacredness of whoever.
Metal in place.
Ink into skin.
To permanantly maim and scar.
The same body we share.
Run, for the fun.
Suffocates us all.
Temporary, the air is the sun.
The air is thin.
To burn flesh from bone.
To eat you out of house and home.
Temporary, yet mandatory.
This is only a fleeting place.

I've been inspired by Niobe to get my nipple piercings put back in. The question remains - should I go with my standard ring jewelry:
Or perhaps try the Horizontal Bar:
Or maybe try something altogether different:
Thoughts? Preferences?

I love the standard ring....... I had one many years ago. But have you considered the horizontal and vertical bar. I saw a girl with both done like it one and it was super cool. She had wicked jewelry in them too...it was a sight to behold!
