My weekend kicked your weekends ass! I went to the Main Club in Superior, Wisconsin with All The Pretty Horses. The Main Club was this sweet little leather-boy bar in the middle of this tiny-ass town. It cracked my pants up that the club was right next to this local hotel that's restaraunt was frequented by the locals. The locals seemed nicer than most (my theory is the higher north you go the kinder people are). However, they couldn't stop googling us at breakfast. I'm surprised their food made their mouth, they were more interested in taking us in. Anyway,the show was packed for such a tiny place and I even got to meet one of my favorite drag kings that lives in the area Dante Difranco.

Needless to say I slept away my whole Monday and didn't accomplish any of the job searching I planned on doing. I think my energy is at a low point. I think it's just trying to get all my shit together and find a job so that I can clear out of here. Employ Me, Employ Me, Employ Me!!!!

By the friggin' way, if you get sundance you should see the documentary called, Mule Skinner Blues. It brightened my night fifty-fold. It's about this colorful, talented trailer park community in Jacksonville, FL that venture to make a horror movie. Beanie(the ringleader) is my new idol. I'll leave you with his words: "Don't be afraid to follow your dream. If you fall in the mud, you might come back as a gorilla."
