Hello Bitches!
So, It's almost B-day and I get a call from one of my favorite men in the whole galaxy! I think I've been sick lately (and not the fun kind of sick, like sick-o), all I can do is sleep and sleep and zzzzzzzz. Then Josh wakes me from my slumber and makes me feel revived. I think Josh and I are esthetic soul-mates. We are both southern feminist queer punk bitches with bad taste who worship all that is low-brow. He is always ahead of me on reading the latest and greatest shit and listening to the most out-there dancerama music. So when he calls I feel updated. Since he called I have two new books on my wish-list. The first is Michelle Tea's, Rent Girl, which he is reading right now. We are both obsessed with our smart-ass sex workers. Sex workers have this strange combination of insane strength and vulnerability. It's their strength that I want (is it a strength or a hardness?). last time I went to a strip club, the thing that got to me was that those women had to wave their pussy in front of some of the most discussting cocks on this planet and make them feel special and adored. I don't know if I could do that, but I can't help but be intrigued by that ability. Did you know the sex industry is the only industry were women make more than men? While i can see the radicalism that can come from certain sex work, in certain cercumstances, that's a bit sad that its the one industry were a girl can make it, afterall. On a lighter note, Michelle Tea is a hot mamma and I adore her shit, her very shit!

Anyway, the other book I must get is called, That's Revolting! Queer Strategies for Resisting Assimilation. When our only queer icons are sexless humorists and decorators, I want to yawn and go masterbate. This book sounds like a blast from queer past, before we all wanted the middle-class, white, married, mainstream lifestyle. Back when Act Up and the Lesbian Avengers rioted like rock-stars, not giving into depression, self-hatred, or a desire to conform. Not that I don't understand were that desire comes from, but we got to analyze why the culture only wants us when we are buying their products and entertaining them. I don't want my civil and economic rights on their terms, I got my own terms. Before I rant there is a chapter called, "Dr. Laura, Sit on My Face," F-U-N-N-Y. On that note, I will cut this off. I miss you Josh-Josh!

I also want to thank all ya'll that have requested to be my friend. For real, I love the peeps on this site. You all make me happy and I will work better at responding back at ya!
