It started out simple enough, I needed a suit.
Couldn't find any in my size that didn't look like old lady suits. Finally found one in a department store......$200. Fine, I need it, I'll look nice, whatever......then I needed a pretty shirt for under it....$50. Then I found a really nice Dooney and Bourke purse that matched....but that was $225. Usually I would have walked away without giving it a second look but I figured, what the hell, I just dropped that much on the outfit....so I got that too and a smaller one for my sister-in-law for Christmas.
Then I get to the register....and the suit was half off, with an additional 10% off of that.
If I had known that to begin with I never would have got the other stuff.
So I got it. Then I said the hell with it and got these awesome Ralph Lauren shoes for $100.
Merry Christmas to me.
