Highlights of the weekend.
Friday night: Rest and recuperation. Was feeling a bit under the weather. It was 104 degrees in the valley.
Saturday: Was chillin like Matt Dillin for most of the day. Tweeked some new songs I am working on. Lyrics are next on the list.
Sunday: Poker night at my friends house. Started playing dice, and drinking. Waiting for the rest of the players to arrive. Lost at dice. Made a quick beer run. Finaly started playing Texas hold em'. 10 people showed, the pot was as $400. People got nice and buzzed as the first few hands were played Played it smooth, untill I got a feel for peoples strategies. It payed off in the end. 3 hours later or so, I came in 2nd. Minus the buy-in money I came up 60 bucks. It was a fun night. Met some cool new people, had some tasty beverages, and made some money in the end.
Moday: Labor day. Spend time with lil' sis and her fiance. We had lunch in Burbank. Then cruised down to Hollywood. Went record shopping. At the end of the night. Made it back home, and watch the Animal Planet. Saw a few specials on the Crock Hunter. It's sad to know that he is no longer with us. He will be missed.
