OK, how fucking stupid is this: I switched shifts with someone at work so I could watch the Pats game. I normally don't request the day off to watch football but I worked during last week's game and it looks like I'll be working a lot of Sundays coming up so I just wanted to watch the home opener. So someone took my 5-midnight shift tonight, and I'll take his 5-midnight on Thursday (My only day off through Sunday). I just got a call from work that the other guy working tonight (not the one I traded with) decided to call out, so my boss just called me to take his shift...which is 5-midnight. Sooooo....So I will be working tonight with the guy who is covering my shift tonight and also working on Thursday to pay him back for the shift he covered for me which I ended up working anyway. I swear I could punch through my fucking wall right now.
