so the update on me,as if any of you are interested,lol
i finally was able to get home and flood insurance for this house im buying so that i can close,..it only took me 2 weeks of calling different places and getting turned down by qabout 100 places!
i neve knew you could get turned down for homeowners insurance for not every having homeowners insurance before.
i figured you would have to FIRST own a home,then have insurance for it,but apparantly it was a BIG mark against me that i didnt have "contents insurance" on my apartment
seriously,i own about 4000 worth of shit,and the minimum contents insurance is 25,000
for the 300 a year it cost i figured i would just buy new shit if anything were to EVER happen!
but in the end it all worked out,because the only place that had a reasonable price and would accept me,also has the absolute lowest yearly premium,by about 500 a year!
looks like the date to close is tentativly set for sept 30th
after that i will be busy fixing it up for about a month as i figure it,then im planning a vacation!
any suggestions as to where i should go?
