I want Bloc Party to have my babies. I have a thing for understated rock stars in street clothes. Also, the Ponys have a bass player who screams a lot. There's something about women who play bass that gives me goosebumps. The good kind.

Days when I wake up and don't get to have a shower make me grumpy. I woke up already late for work. I made it out the door in three minutes flat. I think that's a new personal best.

I tried to straighten my hair today. I used three different products and two blowdryers. Result: The curliest it's been in a week. I think I'm a mutant. Maybe tomorrow I'll burn it into submission with scary chemicals.

I'm feeling particularly self-destructive today. I'd like to drink cheap tequila on my balcony and yell surly things at people on the street, but that'll have to wait until tomorrow because the SAQ is closed and the cabinet is dry. Anybody want to join me?

For that matter, anybody going to see the Kills on Friday? Just me? shit.
