I am in a brilliant fucking mood.
Don't ask me why. I've come to believe that there's something about spring in Montreal that causes dramatic and explosive mood swings.
Then again, it could be because I finally joined the YMCA today (which hopefully heralds and end to my laziness); or because I've had my apartment all to myself; or because of the giant meal I just cooked in it (there is a strange kind of selfish satisfaction that comes from cooking an elaborate dinner just for yourself).
I'm not sure I'll ever get used to cooking for one. I doesn't seem right. I always end up with enough left over to feed a football team. Still, most people I know are content with TV dinners and mac n' cheese. I think I'm better off this way.
I feels great to start coming out of hibernation. Maybe I'll start painting again soon.
