Back from the desert! Straight home to Vancity's overcast skies and cold. I was getting a little stressed out from city life and I had 3 days off in a row so I decided to head a few hours away to visit a friend of mine I hadn't seen in a while. I had the best weekend ever! My friend Nina is probably the coolest person I have ever met. She's beautiful inside and out and just ridiculously amazing (and she's pregnant!! Wooo). This girl can make me smile no matter what. I really needed this vacation to go see her to unwind and enjoy the company of someone I really love to death. She pierces at Pinz and Needles in Salmon Arm, BC. She hooked me up with shorter studs for my snakebites while I was there, and some awesome new earrings. I spent 2 full days floating on the lake working on my tan (which ended up being a huge sunburn ). It was so relaxing I wish I didn't have to come home and work. I also went to the drive-in for the first time in my life. I saw Kung Fu Panda 2 and Captain America. Or I should say I saw the first half of both movies. I fell asleep. It happens. =P
Now I'm home and back to the stress of city life and I just keep thinking about when I will get the chance to go back. <3
