confounded efforts

A daily struggle in my life is figuring out what to do. I am never content with focusing on any single activity or vocation. In fact I pride myself on my well roundedness and ability to at least learn or know a little bit of everything. However that comes at a price, more on that later.

I certainly do not want to pursue psychology. Though, it was what I was educated in, that and computer sciences, I never enjoyed it or regarded it very highly. To me psychology is psuedoscience (but they call it a 'soft' science), and computer science is not science at all, rather an imparative way of thinking (problem solving.)

I have been told a countless amount of things I should do. Writing is one of them. Photography has been another. Computers has been another. Though "computers" in that context is defined as "something with computers." You know "honey your good at that internet thing why don't you do something with computers."

So I am always thinking about going back to college. My first thought is anthropology, or history. My second thought is actually psychology, but not social, or abnormal, or any freduian crap. Industrial Psychology. Some time ago I also considered Human Factors Engineering. Well needless to say I cannot make a desicion.

I've always had an interest in science and skepticism but sometimes science discourages skepticism (go to any psych library.) So would that put me at looking towards a degree in Math or in Physics (I did take 2 years of physics in hs.) But no, I don't think so.

So I guess I am still deciding.

I read a quote recently and I do not know who it is attributed to and I promised I would get back to my original point.

Jack of all trades master of nothing
