The new SOAD is out!! With an extended version of Soldier Side. Without benefit of repeated listenings, I would have to say that I prefer Mezmerize to Hypnotize. But both are good, and far better than most of the crap on the market these days. By the way, if you are debating the cd or dualdisc version, be advised that the dualdisc has all the recording in enhanced stereo, and that the dvd extras are two videos, and a film about the recording of Mezmerize/Hypnotize. In my case, the difference was two bucks, so I went ahead and got the dualdisc.
