Sorry for the commercial sounding personal plug, I just wanted to get this out everywhere.

Shameless plug begin now:

So, for years I have wanted to do this, but I've just never fully committed myself. I decided a while ago that I would this year no matter what, and last night I officially signed up for the 7 day, 545 mile AIDS LifeCycle San Francisco to Los Angeles bike ride. It will take place from May 31 to June 6, 2009.

Part of the requirement to take part in the ride is fundraising, obviously. I have chosen the San Francisco AIDS Foundation as my beneficiary. Proceeds will go to fund research and education revolving the AIDS epidemic.

You will probably hear more from me about this as the dates get closer, but I thought I would send out a quick email and let everyone know I am officially signed on. My fundraising task has started, and they make it pretty easy, just click on the link below to learn more, and to donate if you are so willing.
