*How the fuck do you NOT believe in global warming?*
Believe, like it's some guys opinion, and we have a choice whether or not to "believe" in it. Yeah. I think I will no longer "believe" that 2 plus 2 equals 4. Morons.
So, last night I watched Dennis Miller's HBO Special. I always thought he was a smart, intelligent guy, until now at least.
He started talking about global warming. As if it wasn't real. He started making fun of people that believed in it, saying things like it's not real because slight temperature changes are normal. Well, dennis, yes they are. And if that was the ONLY thing happening, then we wouldn't be so worried.
But what about the melting and breaking up of the ice shelves? You know, those ice shelves that have never broken up, even in the furthest distance time wise from ice ages?
But what about the EXTREME rise in CO2 content in the air? Yes, I understand that the fluctuates according to ice age/non ice age eras, but seriously? Does these chodes have ANY idea just how much is in the air right now? Like, 50 times the highest amount in history? (I don't try to tell me we don't know the historical numbers, it's rather easy to find that out) And do these chodes have any idea what kind of numbers we are in for in the NEAR future?
And what about those temperature increases? (By the way, dipshit, there are better ways of checking the temperature historically then looking in the history books. Nature gives us clues...)
With all these things together, I am really surprised that so many people are simply turning a blind eye... It's really infuriating. God damn Neo-Cons..
