My Blog homework for this week 😘 it's been a while since I've done one of these and I think this is a pretty cool one 🤔.
My first movie would have to be The Blind Side. I love films based on true stories and this is one true story that, (I don't know why as there are a lot of true movies out there), touched me. If you haven't seen it, I totally recommend you watch it. Especially if you're feeling down. I'd class it as a 'feel good film' as it really does make you feel good once its complete. Plus it has Sandra Bullock as the lead wife and she was my one of my favourite actors growing up.
My second movie would be Lords of Dogtown. Unreal movie. And another true story. It tells you a lot about skate culture and really shows you that skating derives from surfing. 'Riding the concrete waves broooo.' It's a heartfelt, interesting movie and it also has Heath Ledger in so if you haven't seen it....go watch it!
Third movie would be.....Law Abiding Citizen. Absolute cracker of a film, and Gerard Butler is awesome in this. Really embodies someone who has lost everything they care about and just doesn't give a f*ck. Very clever film, I was glued to the screen when watching and if people haven't watched this movie, I'm always like WATCH IT NOW, guarantee you will love it.
Fourth movie? Ferngully - The Last Rainforest. As a child I loooooved this movie, and will continue to love it forever. It has such a good meaning as you can probably tell by the name and it's really good for teaching your kids about rainforests and pollution!
My fifth and final movie would have to be Lilo and Stitch. I looove Stitch so much and have little toys of him and Angel. I think this movie is self explanatory as most people have seen it....but on the off chance that you haven't! Go watch it...now! It was really hard for me to choose between this and The Little Mermaid because honestly Ariel is life. And Disney movies in general because I have soooo many I love - (Sword in the Stone, The Black Cauldron, Oliver and Company, THE PAGEMASTER) honestly so many are coming to mind right now I just need to stop 🤣.
So thats my 5 movies I'd be stranded with...very hard to choose. I have so many more I'd love to include, like I love Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman's movies and just plain classics - The Bone Collector, Training Day, The Pelican Brief, The Book of Eli, Bruce Almighty, Seven, The Shawshank Redemption, Along Came A Spider...Warrior.... I honestly could go on forever 🤣🤣
Hope this blog at least names one movie which you guys havent seen and gives you something to watch during quarantine 😘🤣
