As if things can't get any more realistic than this. I was enjoying my job at a company called HD Supply as a surpervisor, until we got a new manager. She didn't like me for who knows what reason, all I know is that she was so into herself and wanted to be seen as the "hot chick" at work. So she had a friend that applied for the possition I had but didn't get it. The manager, fired me so she can give it to her friend. She went so low that she put false statements in my file to justify it. Her friend had quit so she didn't end up keeping the position, instead they had to give it to someone else. I was so pissed off when i found out what her intensions where. So i found a job 2 days later. I have been working there for i would say its going to be 4 months, and due to the bad economy, they might shut down the clinic in January if things don't pick up, but in the meantime, they cut my hours, to 12 hours a week! I can't do shit with 12 hours! That's not even enough to pay for my car! The other staff members have higher wages and more hours, so i'm pretty pissed off about that. But reality hit me how i'm not the only person facing this. Many people are losing thier homes, some people live in their cars, some have families. In a way i'm happy because I can move back with my mom, but in a way i'm pissed off from how things got to this. I've accomplished so much just so i can start back from the bottom. I feel like i really didn't do so much. Like, all my efforts didn't count. Its upsetting. I've been looking for a better job for 4 months already and i have not heard from anyone. This is really tough, i'm so bummed out.
