I feel like a total nerd. My wife and I are taking our 4 year old daughter to Disneyland the week of June 1st, and I am really, really excited about it. I didn't think adults were supposed to be excited to go to Disneyland. I guess it's not so much that I'm excited to see Mickey and Minnie, as much as it is that I'm excited for my daughter. She doesn't know where we're going. We're not going to tell her until we actually get off the plane and are on the way to the Disney Grand Californian Hotel. I'm pretty sure she's going to freak the fuck out.
She LOVES the Disney princesses, especially Tianna from The Princess and the Frog. In fact, we took her to Disneyland when she was 2 and she actually remembers quite a bit of it, especially meeting Cinderella. Anything to do with the princesses since is pretty bad ass in her view.
Anyway, it's all pretty nerdy, but I guess that's ok when you have kids.
