The Waste Land: The Fire Sermon ~ T.S. Eliot

I always liked T.S. Eliot. Don't really know why but his words have always been appealing to me. This verse always reminds me of fall so I thought I would post it here today. Fall is definitely in the air here. I think the temperature is supposed to drop tonight and actually be "chilly."

Let's see what can I tell you. I went to a wedding last weekend and had a really great time in Austin, TX. Ate a metric ton of Mexican and BBQ cuisine all-the-while drinking my body weight in whiskey every night. I went to college there and it was really nice to be back and see the old stomping grounds. The wedding was kick ass and I met a lot of really cool people that I hope to stay in touch with.

I was able see some cool shows while I was there. Stopped by Emo's and saw few bands on Thursday night, hit up Jackelope, Casino El Camino, and finally, was able to make it over to Shangra-la to meet up with some old friends from L.A. Overall I would say the weekend deserves a 9/10.

What else, what else can I tell you. Ahhh, I think I need to date more. Weird observation, I know, but I really do think its true. I need to get out there and meet some new people. Different people from the path that I currently feel I'm treading down. I guess I just want to change things up and test myself a little. I'll expand more on this later when I can put some decent sentences together.

Finished yet another website. The website this time is for a 14yr old who's parents are pushing her down the young-girls-who-get-forced-into-show-business-by-their-parents road. She's pretty but she can't sing. Oh well, I wish her the best of luck and to stay cool, even when she's on MTV cribs.

I think I already need a vacation from the last vacation. Anybody want to put me up for a few day/nights? I'll buy the drinks!
