OK, so I'm kinda back from a long hiatus from SG.
A lot has changed in my life.
Just recently I've moved from Chicago to New York and now have a kick-ass uber sweet job in web development. I'm currently living in Brooklyn and going out way too much. I'll probably come to regret this but for now everything is fine. I feel like I am accomplishing the things I've wanted to accomplish. I've moved to a city I've wanted to move to and have a job that I actually like waking up in the morning for.
I've been meeting a lot of really cool people and my roommates are good so far. No roommate drama which is great.
Anyway, I'll keep this short and sweet. I'm glad I'm back with SG an look forward to meeting a lot of cool people on here. Hope everyone's new year is treating them well.

Thankfully I just had to rewrite the entire site, so no messing with bad code was necessary. There was too much bad code to start with, so we just scrapped it all and started fresh.

Isn't it? It's so much more satisfying. Especially when you are the sole front end person on a project and responsible for integration to the backend. I love my job!
