we're on the downside of the year now, the summer solstice having come and gone a few weeks ago. i'm already dreaming of autumn and sweaters and orange and red and brown and sleeping trees and brisk winds and hiking among forests of fire. i'm dreaming of long nights, type o negative and halloween.

somehow, autumn and winter make me even more introspective than usual. my contemplations of it all permutate and collapse on themselves and reemerge anew, all amid the backdrop of a season-long, light depression that is more sweet and meloncholy than lamentable. i sit alone on cold benches, bundled against the climate i wasn't born to, reading dark prose and hoping to be noticed by some passing angel or demoness, i care not which.

oops, didn't mean to get all weird on you.

i suppsose i'll polish off this beer and head off to my bed.

for those of you who have someone waiting for in your boudoir, kiss them an extra few times and hold them a little closer for those of us who have yet to have the privelage of same.

crushjunkie:
As I walked on, witness to the brutal carnage which now surrounded me, I remembered those words of wisdom, once bestowed upon me by a caring friend: "pimp outfits aren't cool." It has been 7 hours since I retired my silver wig, goldfish platforms, 'dollar bill' cane, and the studded cape. The lite-brite jump suit was replaced by jeans, and old 't', and some sneakers.

And just in time! Our town was hit by the most brutal prostitute strike since '79. An angry mob of horny married men with pitchforks were out to wreak havoc, blaming pimp brutality for this untimely strike. Anybody caught with so much as glitter under their fingernails was dragged outside and beaten. Feather boas were flying, gold teeth littered the sidewalk, pink pintos, overturned, burned slowly into the night.

When the army came, the mob subsided, fell on their knees and cried. Somebody returned Piggy's glasses.
