the song is Frogs, off of Alice in Chains's self titled album. quite possibly the most beautifully bleak, bitter and best track they ever recorded. AiC has been swirling my head for the last few days. too bad Grunge didn't last. that and the whole being dead thing for Llayne's and Kurt's part.

I remember going across the street to shoot baskets with a couple of musician/ acquaintances and talkin about it that afternoon. Basically, just -shock and surprise- like everyone else.
