there are so many things that are just plain frakking awesome in this vid. tom jones and the cardigans doing talking heads? whatshername looks like a fembot, tom jones doesn't even look like he has dentures, alum-foil shrink-wrapped dancers with just about the nicest tight arses i've ever seen--all set to a spanking good riff. yes baby. very posh.

Yep, I dig the Kinky thing. I think I voted for him because by no means was he a "typical" politician. He was way laid back. And he was best friends with WIlly Nelson - come on, you have to be a bad ass then.
I'm not sure I'm digging the newest SG layout, you dig? (I know by "new" I mean the last year)

In Heaven a spirit doth dwell
whose heart-strings are a lute;
None sing so wildly well
as the angel Israfel,
and the giddy stars (so legends tell),
ceasing their hymns, attend the spell
of his voice, all mute

Tottering above
in her highest noon,
the enamoured moon
blushes with love,
while, to listen, the red levin
(with the rapid Pleiads, even,
which are seven)
pauses in Heaven

I wish I could tell you! All I know is my team isn't too far from there... wink I'd recommend you look into attending the CPRI paranormal research conference in Richmond next spring. We'll be there, and it's definitely geared towards the more scientific/skeptical types.

i leave you with photographs
pictures of trickery
stains on the carpet and
stains on the scenery
songs about happiness murmured in dreams
when we both us knew
how the ending would be...

that is too true. i opted for authenticity and simplicity some time ago, and i am very grateful.

Also, it should be pointed out that those chairs wouldn't need to be thrown away if the people had taken care of the upholstery. It's like how vinyl gave way to CDs, and CDs to iPods, because people can't be bothered to not scratch the shit out of or glob peanut butter all over LPs or CDs.... okay, yes, iPods also hold hundreds of songs. Don't argue. I'm on a roll here. It's disposable society, damn it!

There are some nice sights in Alex.; I still look at those pics and think "Angry, nasty library customers," though. I'm sure it's a good town to live in if you don't have to answer to its crazier or ghettoier people.

Portland's going alright.

i've found my new love interest. she comes to me to enlighten, fulfill, beautify, and enpassion my life in May of this year, gods be praised:

TOOL RECORD MASTERED
Salma stopped dancing on January 29th. The next morning the members of the band flew to Portland, Maine to have the record mastered by Bob Ludwig. This was done on January 31, no doubt followed by...

Dressed up? No. I'll be in jeans and whatever shirt strikes my fancy: could be a nice one, could be a WWE crew shirt (I have a lot of those in my closet currently).

See ya soon.

okay, i have about 9000 songs on my computer garnered here and there from Napster way back in 99, Audiogalaxy in the early '00s, Limewire nowadays, and many drunken nights of slipping friends' CDs into my computer and ripping the songs without adding title or artist to them.

so today i put my whole collection of songs on random while i write my final term...

Dialogue is collaborative: multiple sides work toward shared understanding.
Debate is oppositional: two opposing sides try to prove each other wrong.
In dialogue, one listens to understand, to make meaning, and to find common ground.
In debate, one listens to find flaws, to spot differences, and to counter arguments.
Dialogue enlarges and possibly changes a participant's point of view.
Debate defends assumptions as truth.

My preferred form of debate is just wrapping myself in a six-foot American flag and saying, "You're not AMERICAN!! THAT'S not patriotic!!" Actually, that's me preferred form of dialogue, too!

Whenever people critique the SG home page, what they have to remember is- I NEVER view it. I enter the site via a Friend's homepage, then Log In from there. I like many things about the site, but as far as visual aesthetic design choices go, I've never been high on those. (Can we retire that Mary logo, already?)

That's great. Which college are you attending?
