Weddings are always funny.
Especially when the vast majority of male guest are wearing kilts (becuase its a big scottish wedding), and the dance floor has to be on carpet (because the mud was from the field the marquee was in had started to come up throught the joins of the actual dancefloor), so that all those guys in kilts were walking around compliaining of having carpet burns on their asses from falling over doing crazy drunken scottish dancing.

Yes, wedding are always funny.

Pictures will follow, I promise, but following my apparent new habit of loosing things (phones in new zealnd, sun glasses in australia and power chargers in south africa) I managed to leave the camera memory stick at my sisters after the wedding.

Yes, it was my sisters wedding, which made it even funnier becasue:

a. She magaged to mess up her vows and started laughing.
b. Instead of having an actual wedding cake, she had a big "cake" of cheese.
c. I was forced to say "yes, its great to see you again" to 100s of people Im pretty sure I have never met, even if they insist I have.
d. She was still getting sewn into her dress as she got into the car to get married after a gigantic fuck up by the dress maker. Which I guess isnt funny, but it so was.

In other news, I am so excited about certain things that Im like a kid waiting for xmas.

Im also going to an indoor snow dome this week to try and get some training in before I actually go to Canada to train.
