That new profile pic kind of makes me look like a prick, doesn't it.

meh

Not much has been happening this week. We are into rehearsals for Comedy of Errors. Its a fun cast, and it's a short play. Only about 90 min. It should be a good show. It goes up the first weekend of July, a week after Henry V closes. I'll be glad to get that show over. Only two more weekends left. I love performing Shakespeare, and I love the play Henry V, but this particular production has definitely not been my favorite for various sundry reasons, many of which I explained two journals ago. It was damp and rainy all last weekend and last Sunday's show got rained out. To top that off crowds were small and unresponsive. (although I admit they probably didn't know what the hell was going on) Needless to say it wasn't the best of times. For what it's worth though, I enjoy my speech about my horse. "I'd rather have my horse to my mistress."

Speaking of mistresses. Have you ever been around someone so much that you find yourself becoming attracted to them, despite them being totally not your "type". I find this happens to me often, especially at work and in the theater. There will be some person who, in an outside situation, I wouldn't be attracted to, but because I'm around so much, I start becoming enamored of them. This could get me in trouble, but I learned long ago it's not wise to get involved with people you work with. This strange attraction I either call my "Last Person Alive Theory" or "Survival of the Species Theory." I hypothesize that in the case of some cataclysmic event, two people, despite how mutually unattractive they find each other, will eventually want to have sex with each other given enough time together, in order to ensure they will reproduce and thus perpetuate the species. The biological need to reproduce far outweighs any predispositions to beauty.
Or maybe it's just my hormones raging.

Along those lines; would you rather have one night of mind blowing sex, or a year of mediocre sex?
