So I managed to make it through Much Ado relatively unscathed. It's too bad we have only the one performance. I wish I had more so I could get it perfect. I majorly screwed up this one part tonight. I was in the middle of this soliloquy towards the end, when all of a sudden I went into a completely different speech. I was horrified. Worst of all I couldn't remember how to get back to the right one. So I rambled on in some kind of psudo-shakesperian babble until Beatrice came out and rescued me. I tell you may joy in seeing her was no acting, if was true heartfelt happiness. The rest of the play went pretty smoothly. People laughed, it was good. However that one flub will haunt me for some time to come.
In other news, the coffee shop I work at was robbed last Saturday night. Luckily I wasnt working there at the time. The robber hog-tied both of the employees, and got away with about $2000. The employees werent found till the next day, when the morning shift came in at 6:00 a.m. Crazy stuff.
I'm going to see the Shins on Saturday. I'm excited.
Its cold and rainy. The weather needs to change. It snowed last Saturday. This is spring for cris-sakes.
Have a good weekend.
