The shows last weekend went pretty well. Saturday was by far the best night we've had. We were nearly sold out, somewhere around 45 people, and the audience seemed to really get into it. Friday night was good but it was rather a subdued audience. It was about 20 people and they chuckled more than they guffawed. Saturday night was full of guffaws. It was good. The actresses looked real comfortable onstage and really seemed to be having fun with each other and the audience. A couple of lines were flubbed but they recovered pretty well.
There was this one woman though, who got us in the middle of the show, walked through the audience, went to the lobby and proceeded to talk real loudly on her cell phone. Everybody in the back section could hear her, it was annoying. I wished for a tazer gun that I could zap her with and make her shut up. Can't your phone call wait an hour and a half until the shows over. Sheesh! Another couple arrived like five minutes into the show and tried to sneak in during a blackout, but to their surprise the lights came up on them center stage, exposing them to the ridicule of one of my actresses and the audience. It was funny. That's what you get foe being late!
Well we just have one more weekend. I have a feeling next weekend will be a good. The crowds have been increasing and I've been told by many people that they're planning to see it this weekend. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Just don't wait too long.
