Well yes that pretty much sums it up.
Damn I'm tired of seeking solace on this site. The screen hypnotizes. I can't leave because something interesting might happen.
I guess it's better than looking isolated and out of place in some hipster bar.
It's funny, often the first thing I do when I log on is check my comments and friends pages. I signed up for naked girls and now spend more of my time reading other peoples business.
I love my friends though, they are the coolest.
A Mass Communication professor of mine once said that when he worked briefly for an "adult" magazine there would hundreds of copies of it laying around untouched, but fist-fights would erupt over a copy of the New York Times. Perhaps all we're after is something out of the ordinary.
I still feel like a heel for voluntarily sitting in front of a computer screen for hours on end.
So I've given up on this girl I was interested in (one I mentioned in a previous entry). She did call and apologize for not being in touch recently. She said that she was feeling blue. So I sent her some flowers. She called the next day, and we hung out a bit. She said she would call again. That was on the 11th. I haven't heard from her since.
Oh well at least I have Matt & Ben to look forward to.
