So I went to an Elton John concert here in Asheville last night. It was pretty impressive. He played for nearly three hours. It seemed to go by really fast though because I pretty much knew almost every song by heart. You can't really escape knowing Elton John songs. It was different than most show I go to. The crowd was mostly seated, and rather polite. That's not to say they weren't excited and didn't dance or whoop and holler. It was just different having your own designated space from which you could either dance or sit. One thing I did find ironic is that a lot of people sat through "I'm Still Standing."
