Halloween is my favorite day. It's the one day of the year you don't have to be yourself. Maybe that's why I enjoy being an actor. It pleases me to no end when I see grown-ups in costumes driving around, or houses decorated to the nines with Halloween paraphernalia. Also Halloween is one holiday where it's impossible to be too gaudy. The more stuff the better.

The only sad part is that I can no longer go trick-or-treating. When I was a kid it seemed like Halloween night would last forever. We would trick or treat all around West Asheville. We had to be out there at least three or four hours. We'd return with bushels of sweet loot.

It also saddened me that the schools didn't allow the kids to dress up this year. I guess it's too distracting, but I like to see people in costumes. The reason I probably enjoy the theater.

So can anyone guess what I dressed up as for the SGCharlotte Halloween party?

People who were in attendance are ineligible to guess.
