If I have to sit through one more lousy production of the Vagina Monologues I think I'm going to queef.

Yes I get it! Vagina's are beautiful! We should all worship them! That's why I'm here. However there is just so many times I can hear "my vagina smells like a snowflake" or "It would wear combat boots" or hear about the 20 different types of groans before it starts to loose it's uniqueness.

Not that it's a bad play, or that it doesn't have positive messages, or doesn't address issues that everyone should hear, or that it isn't a good cause. It just seems every girl and her vagina wants to be in a production of VM and so I end up having to see one of my theater friends in some production every V-day. I almost know the lines as well as the actresses.

And a little direction wouldn't hurt these shows either. It always seems like they just give the actresses these monologues to memorize and tell them to show up on the day of the performance. It comes off as being very amateur, but the crowd always loves it. I guess it's a XX chromosome thing.
