Careful I have an End Friendship button, and I'm not afraid to use it!
Things have been going very good. On Thursday I went down to Charlotte to see Less Than Jake with SteveNeurotic. He got me on the V.I.P. list so I was able to go backstage and meet some of the guys. Nice chaps. Actually backstage at the Tremont wasn't as glamorous as I thought it would be. There were some nice couches, but was pretty much just a room sectioned off by pressboard from the rest of the venue. It didn't seem like a place one would want to go relax before a show. Of course I don't have much to compare it to. The show was awesome. Less Than Jake really put a lot into the show. There were confetti cannons, toilet paper blowers, and bubbles. Above all it was just fun. Not like many shows I go to where people either just stand around, or they try to kill you in the pit. Above all the band seemed genuinely happy to be there playing for us. I hate it when bands could care less about the fans that paid good money to see them.
I also briefly met SG Saffron and her boyfriend. They seemed very nice.
EDIT: That is her male friend.
I crashed at the always gracious SouthernBelle's house. I think it was the first time I've slept in an actual bed there. In the morning Spike and I annoyed her while she was trying to work. This woman's work uniform consists of pajamas and fuzzy slippers. Lucky.
After leaving SouthernBelle's I headed to the Charlotte skatepark to skate it for a while. It was the first time I've been there legally. It's a nice park with a pretty sick bowl. I like it much better than the park in Asheville. I managed to land some tricks, and not hurt myself so it was a good day.
Next week we start rehearsals for Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in The Universe. It was a play written for Lily Tomlin about various eccentric characters in NYC. Our show will have four very talented actresses playing the parts. It should be interesting.
So who's the most famous person you've ever met?

Of course, it's also fun to play "Six Degrees of Me". For example, I went to high school with a guy who went to college with Dean Cain and who wound up serving as a groomsman in "Superman's" wedding.
