So the last few hours of 2005 are creeping away. However it's not like I'll wake up tomorrow and the world will be a totally different place. It's been a rather mediocre year for me. It hasn't been the worst year for me, but it wasn't the best either. It's been a year of losses and gains, of old familiar faces and new friends. A year of bitter disappointments and welcome surprises. Overall however it it's been a year of stasis for me. I remained pretty busy this year, but I haven't really gotten anywhere. I don't think Ive changed much, just have a few more experiences, and a couple of new friends. I think I had too high expectations for 2005, which I was never able to live up to.
