Twas two days before Christmas,
And all through the city,
Traffic was jammed bumper to bumper,
It was rather shitty.
All of the shelves in all the stores were bare,
Crushing my hopes I'd find something there.
So empty handed I left the mall very late,
Swearing next year I wont procrastinate.

Attention denizens of the metropolitan Atlanta:
It is not a race. You won't get a prize if you get there before me. Now please stop driving so damn crazily.

I'm in Atlanta spending the holiday with my sister and her family. I'll say it again, Atlanta traffic is the worst I've driven in the entire country, and I've driven in many major cities: NY, LA, Chicago, Washington. So out into this nightmare traffic I ventured today to do my Christmas shopping. Hey back off I've been busy! It was productive actually. I managed to complete major gift shopping in one day.
Even more amazing is the fact that I did it mostly in one place. No not Target. No not Kmart or Wal-Mart, please I have more class than that! Today I had my first foray into that Swedish home furnishing Valhalla, Ikea. I know this smacks in the face of all you Chuck Palahniuk disciples, but I loved it. God praise mass-produced designer home furnishings. The mix of sleek European engineering and do it yourself hipster chic actually brought a tear to my eye. I was hypnotized by the elegant simplicity of their perfect 10' x 20' room models. I giddily wandered through the easy flowing aisle of each department dreaming of how much hipper my 10 x 20 space could be. I even fooled myself into thinking I could read Swedish. It was lovely. I could have spent all day there, but eventually, after finally deciding on the perfect gifts for the fam, I was cast out of the chic home accessory paradise and back into my unfashionable dull reality. I did buy some pretty cool lamps for myself though.

Tomorrow were going the new Aquarium. Ill take photos.

Merry Festivus to all. First the Airing of Grievances:
I dont have problems with most of the stuff on here, but that video yesterday was too much. The senseless violence it depicted, even though it was staged, was depressing, and the comments on it were equally frightening. Its something that a pubescent boy might find amusing, but I think really reflects poorly on the website and the people who frequent it. I think many of the people on this site are more intelligent than that, and deserve better than junior-high humor.

With that said, now its time for the Feats of Strength. Who thinks they can pin me?
