Only Thomas Wolfe couldn't go home again.
I am home again from our little tour to Charlotte. Lots of performances, lots of kids, lots of driving.
Here is a picture from an Asheville Citizen-Times article on our show.
Thats one of my fellow actors, Julia, in the front and I'm in the back pointing out the AH HA SO strategy.
I was excited to hear that the hotel we were staying at had a pool. However when we arrived we found much to our dismay that it was an unheated indoor/outdoor type. The funny thing is we went swimming anyway, or I should say we jumped in a couple of times. Now it is still warm during the days in Charlotte, but the nights are chilly. This made for quite a refreshing dip. However it didn't seem as cold as some of the mountain streams up here.
On Wed. Julia and I ate fried pickles and other Penguin goodies and drank lots of Yuengling with Southernbelle, SteveNeurotic, and Steve's dad. It was good. Steve's dad is a really awesome person. He told us some great stories. Also thanks to Southernbelle for hauling us around.
This weekend I think I'll be in solitary mode. I like hanging out with my cast-mates, but after a week of us being together most of the day, we started getting on each other's nerves.
In Asheville the leaves are beginning to change color. It's a little late because of how warm Sept/Oct has been. Everyone should drive up and take a gander at them.

If you like "Lost", I'm sorry to hear that you've missed this season so far. I was hooked from the season premire when they played a Cass Elliott song during a mysterious montage. I think the show is in re-runs for a while now, if you have a chance to catch up.
We found out in the newspaper why the cable went out last week - the line was cut by a cotton picker harvesting on a farm. Somehow, I don't think that would happen in the big city.
