Ah Florida. After many months at home in Connecticut it's hard to imagine how I ever could have gotten sick and tired of nice weather, beautiful sunsets, and good friends.
But it still is what it's always been to me. An Island of Lotus Eaters (well a peninsula anyway). A fine place to feed every possible appetite as you idle away your last days.
But now that I plan on living past 25 and don't see a future for myself in the DJ and/or catering-to-the-living-dead industry, I can't see myself staying here.
NYC, don't take it so bad baby. I still love you. Soon you will be mine again.
