I realize that I will probably come off as Scroogish, and it's not my intention to offend, but...does anyone else HATE halloween?

And if you love it, convince me why I should spend even one night a year with drunk frat-boys in drag living out their homo-erotic fantasies and girls trying to out slut one another.

my halloween tradition is a friend's pumpkin-carving party. no costumes, no debauchery, just some geeking out trying to design cool jack-o-lanterns, and some bbq-ing.
