I know how you feel about the heat. I live in a basement suite and my place is right next to the furnace room. My landlord lives upstairs, and during the week, while he's at work, he doesn't turn the heat on at all, and I fucking freeze my ass off. But on the weekends I wake up in a sweaty agonizing sauna, and have to keep all of my windows and my front door wide open all day so I don't shrivel up and die.
