Early hours of the morning, 6 June 1944.
Thought about this yesterday. But the long day lead me to forget.
Imagine how long June 6th 1944 was for the guy pictured above.
He got on that plane in England. Flew over the English Channel. Jumped out of that plane. Floated to the ground on his parachute. Only to fight the Nazi's from that day until April 1945. If he lived.
I do a lot of paperwork at my Monday job. This leads to writing the date a lot. I wrote Jume 6th a few time yersterday. I thought of those guys on D-Day.

dude just think that they were waiting a few days to make that jump, so the anticapition must have been terrible for these guys
