Just want to leave a goodbye message.
I have been on SG since February 2003. Have loved my time here.
I joined the site at the suggestion of my last girlfriend. Had moved back to Florida after living in California for 12 years. The small town lifestyle was killing me. SG and the internet let me be "California" Paul instead of "Florida" Paul. PaulNikon is "Internet" Paul, I suppose a combination of the two. Actually, I met some of my closest friends through SG.
The site "upgrades" really left me behind. Its too hard to post anymore. The mechanics of the site it too different. It seems others feel the same way. So many of my SG friends are gone. Without communication with my old friends, the site means nothing to me. The community is gone.
Just like in real life. Enough changes are made to your neighborhood and its not "your" neighborhood anymore.
