So I quit my job on Friday and it feels great. I had been worrying myself recently as to where is my life heading. Everyone gets this feeling at some point in there life where they panic as to where/what they want to do in life. This constantly played on my mind and was actually very depressing.
The job Im currently in/just quit is ok but its just a job. I mean I do it because it pays the bills and gets me by but I dont seem to be going anywhere career wise with it. To be honest even if it did have a future I wouldnt want to do it because I dont want to be sat behind a desk in 10 years time.
My story so far:
I was at Toni&Guy doing hairdressing then I quit to go and stop in Vancouver with a friend for a while. Came back with little money and got offered this temp office job to get me by. Ended up staying in the office job for a lot longer than expected. And now Im finally getting my ass in gear and going back to hairdressing.
Ive got an interview next Monday, which I would usually be stressing about but Im actually really confident and excited about it! I was amazingly relived as well that it didnt clash with my tattoo appointment. All in all touch wood its been a pretty positive start to 2004!
