Today is my girlfriends 24th birthday. She is all about bitching about how old she is...when she really isnt. I can't relate because I just turned 20 a few weeks ago. I got her some cd's, made her a cake and bought her a hanging plant...Whatever, hopefully she'll appreciate it. She always finds something to ruin her day.

Okay...I'm not going to write about all of my sad thoughts, or how much I hate my job. So today I decided to pick out one of my favorite passages from Goethe FAUST.


The uglier her features grow,
The more she puts herself on show.
I speak as one who now forsees
The honest citizens one day,
As from a carcass of disease,

(oh and, I know I always have a crush on someone new on here...but I have recently become completely enamored with Frenchie. Beautiful girl. )
