Sometimes, it takes the pushiness of a pretty girl to make me stop being lazy.

My last update was in November, which could just as well have been yesterday for all that I have changed, and grown since then.

Well, that isn't totally fair to me. We have a new house, the family and I, a big monster of a home with too many bedrooms, just enough bathrooms, and not enough lawn. The price is high - oh, so very high - but it's beautiful, and I love it dearly.

I'm finishing up my resume in hopes of landing a job at Dark Horse Comics flogging ads, and promotional stuff. Basically, it's a PR position, which seems like it could be fun. Certainly it will be more fulfilling than my current job, which I should have left long ago.

Wish me luck in overcoming my own, inexplicable paralysis and fear of success. I didn't have it until relatively recently, and now it won't go away. I guess I never should have quit my work as a freelance author - the pay was nothing to brag on, but it was largely a pleasure.
