Today was an interesting day to say the least. It started off with the usual 6am to Noon shift at work. Then I hightailed it to Little Rock, AR for Smile Church. Where we gave away a lot of free hugs and popsicles, and had an amazing time doing so! Then, before leaving got an invitation to come visit with some friends who were in town that I haven't seen for a very long time. That was a real treat, because they are truely amazing people, who I love and care a lot about. Then, just as I was about to leave (around 12:30), I got a voice mail from my mom informing me that my sister was in jail. Because apparently she had an outstanding warrent from a speeding ticket that nobody remembers ever being given to her. Not to mention she couldn't bond out. The only way she can be released is by $800 cash. Even if I had herd this sooner, I would still not be able to do anything for her, because I don't have anywhere near this amount of money. Ever since my dad's suicide about 5 years ago, I've really felt the pressure to look over my sister and mom a great deal more that before. Right now I just feel so worthless because there is nothing I can do for her. She's going to have to sit in jail until Monday morning, and then go to court. So, here I am after having an almost perfect/wonderful day, feeling like a total piece of shit. I can feel the sleepaide kicking in pretty hard now, so I'm gonna try and get some sleep, if at all possible. Thanks to anyone who is taking the time to read this rant I've managed to spill out here. Sorry to sound so miserable, but it's the one emotion that has dominated me at the time being.

I do wish you luck on not getting arrested. I hope you go in with confidence and self control. Thats the only way to winn with the system ...to not let them get to you.(even though we never win with the system) Everybody argues, and they are always right no matter what you do.If you are the adult and calmy state your beliefs maybe your time there will be short. I do wish you luck!! I also hope your week looks up.

My little sis' got released from jail today, and now she just has to get the paperwork together showing that she paid off the money they said she didn't pay them. Then she'll have to try to get back the $150 bond out fee, the $270 impound fee for her car. Not to mention she missed 2 days of work and had a gallon of milk and other groceries in the trunk of her car for two days (eewww). At least she's no longer sitting in jail for something that was paid off years ago. (looking forward and optimistic).
