I am really saddened by the news about John Hughes passing. He was an incredible writer/director/producer that gave us so many incredible movies, that I still love to watch to this day. The first movie written by Hughes that I can remember seeing as a child was National Lampoon's Vacation. From then on I was hooked on Hughes' work. Wether behind a pen or the camera he gave us so many memorable movies. Today is such a sad day for fans of his work everwhere. As a token of my appreciation for his work, I think a double feature is in order. I'm going with (1) Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and (2) The Great Outdoors. Mr. Hughes thank you so very much for entertaining me over the years.
