Oh.......where to start...the past few weeks have been so jumbled and chaotic. Shortly before Christmas, my grandpa drove to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing, he has been diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis for some time now, while doing an x-ray of his chest they noticed blockage in his heart and had to put a stint in. Because he had pneumonia, they had to keep him in Intensive care until they could do the surgery to do this. After the surgery, everything was fine for a while, then his lung collapsed. He had to be put on a ventilator to keep him breathing. A few days after all of this, I got a DWI, and had to spend the night in jail. Christmas rolls around and my grandpa is still in the hospital. My family all got to go see him for a few hours on Christmas day and we even had a desktop tree in his room. A few days later when his oxygen levels were up where they wanted they took the ventilator out.....his lung collapsed again. He passed away on Sunday morning Janurary 4th. His funeral is today, Janurary 7th which is also my sister's birthday, at 10am....and I can not sleep for shit. So, I figured I'd waste some time and update my blog, even though it's a very depressing subject.
