Okay so I've totally been putting off posting so I guess it's been awhile

I had a reaaalllyyy awesome time in San Francisco with Tim_in_tampa. We did all the classically touristy things like Alcatraz, Golden Gate, Coit Tower, Castro District, Chinatown. We did alot of wandering, took public transportation everywhere and even caught a bit of the Olympic Torch protest which was really cool. It's a beautiful city even if it was absolutely FREEZING! We caught a Giants game while we were there also and watched them win with a walk off homer in the 11th inning. That was very cool, and the cold weather kept my beer cold ALL NIGHT LONG! BRRRRR. Took me hours to thaw out!

We rented a convertible (wheee! So something I can't afford to own on my shitty salary.. so was very fun to rent for the day) and we went driving to Napa Valley, did the wineries and couldn't keep that up for too long or that pretty convertible never would have made it back in one piece. It was so gorgeous there, it really felt like I was in a whole different part of the world. Loved loved it. I was really glad we went out there.

So then it's back to Tampa now, back to reality. Was really looking forward to a visit from a friend and guess that isn't going to happen so I'm bummed. Been kind of a crappy week back after vacation actually..

But that's okay.. I'm counting down the days to Dragon Con for my next vacation! (Ok so that's a mini one and it's like 4 months away.. but that's not much time to get my costumes done! I still havn't decided what I want to do for some of them.)
