I seriously want to throttle whoever runs DHL. Why, oh _WHY_ is there no customer service? that stupid little answering machine thing does _not_ count and as far as i can see is completely useless. they tried to deliver a package to me last week and no one was here to sign for it, so they had to take it back with them and leave...

Funny ... I just got off the phone with UPS about a Valentine's Package I sent my mum that's nowhere to be found!

They're ALL just complete crap.

Well ... Happy happy to you!

I sympathise with ya, I have constant battles with the postal service here in London! I get sent records most days because of my job, they don't fit through the letterbox, but instead of the postman ringing the bell and waiting, he just puts a card through my letter box and disappears! As a result I spend half my week queing up at some ghetto post depot to collect my mail. I can't even tell you how many times I've chased him down the road insisting he rings the bell, but its a long way beyond a joke. Then on top of that, often when I've queued up to collect my mail, I'm just told it's gone missing! Unbelievable! mad

Anywayz, rant over! Hope you're well, and happy valentines day! kiss

Let's go for a cup of tea together and curse the package delivery industry sometime! biggrin

so, i was brave and just posted my rejected set to the Hopefuls group. really looking foreward to constructive critisism, but i have to admit that offering myself to be picked apart is kind of scary eeek

now i should probably stop messing around on SG and actually get some work done, lol. this site is so distracting!

It's funny how I'm perfectly willing to give a few pounds to the old man who stopped me on the street today saying he was trying to get enough money to buy some bread and butter for his dinner, but search the shelves for all the bargains at tesco's and am a complete cheap skate when it comes to my own dinner. but i guess...

Hi,
came accross your profile on the SG newbies board and thought as a fellow resident of London it would be rude of me not to say hello, so "Hello"!

Somtimes I too suffer from putting others need before my own, but the feeling you get from it can't compare to money.

I hope your studies go well, it must be hard studying in a new environment, I hope LONDON treats you well!

How are you finding it?

Lastly, may I just say that you looked awesome in your rejected set, were their reasons for refusal valid and constructive?

When are you going to try again?

Well till we speak, have a great day

I am big on lemongrass and jamaican gingermint right now. This evening I spun firestaff, its been years since I had last done so. I feel good, feel like reading Chu Yuan. Busy is good, take time for tea.

So, SG seems like a friendly place. Yay for friendly places! And, um, yay for jet-lag? Or not. I got back from Cali yesterday and now it's 2am and I'm going a leetle bit crazy. Off to Wales tomorrow. My, aren't I a busy girl these days?
akamces:
Wales? I am jealous.
