Argentina: It ain't over 'till it's over. It ain't over 'till the fat lady sings. She may be warming up, but sh'e not singing. It comes down to the Nigeria Iceland game tomorrow. Also, the coach getting the right line up; Argentina has some venomous players, they need to be on the pitch at the same time. Somebody needs to read them the riot act and get them motivated. Personally, I feel like two goal against Nigeria could be enough to open the flood gates, and after the disaster against Croatia, Argentina will need a lot of goals if they are to catch Iceland. Hope that if, assuming Greece wins tomorrow, Croatia runs rampant against Iceland.
Russia: You are having beer shortages in Moscow and other cities holding games. I do not blame the Russian people, nor Putin. A reasonable assumption was made. As the US did not qualify, the US fans would not be showing up. That did not happen. The Americans are there, just keeping a low profile. As a matte of fact, Americans are the largest group of foreign fans. They are thirsty, and want beer. So, the lack of beer is due to hops loving, beer swilling Americans.
I hope the Russian breweries can get into overdrive.
Of course, four years from now, it will be far worse. Alcohol is illegal in Quatar. By the time Brazilian women are released from Quatrai prison for dressing like Brazilian women dress for the World Cup, it will be time for the US Mexico Canada World Cup. Plenty of beer, whisky and whiskey, and tequila for all. No dress codes.
